What a Week

This was quite a week. It started off that Dave and I got really sick. I quickly recovered but poor Dave ended up with a sinus infection and had to go get two different types of antibiotics and perscirption sudifed. Work for both of us was extremely busy. To top it all off we hosted Dave's staff at our house for a holiday party tonight. Now if you know me at all you know that I fuss and fret over every detail. Yes, I am a perfectionist when it comes to hosting a party.

The kids have been quite the troopers during all of this. Haley gladly took the duty of making dinner a couple of nights in a row when Dave and I were to sick to do so. They all helped keep the house decently clean and laundry under control. They are really good kids. Don't get me wrong, they still have their moments when their halo's are very crooked but for the most part they are really good kids and I am blessed to be their mom.

I am really ready for Sunday. I get to attend Relief Society the whole month of December because the last one of my kids turned 12 yesterday so they will all be attending YM and YW. If I had a choice of only one month a year to attend Relief Society it would be December. It is my goal this month to do a little more scripture study about Christ and his life. I let you know if I learn anything new or if I have a new insight.
